HR Development Officer

Functions
- Provide a high standard of training sessions, ensuring that the course is interactive, participatory and grounded on learning by practice (school-type training is excluded).
- Prepare English assessments for staff to identify their English levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced. And recommend & allocate staff to sessions accordingly.
- Allocate staff to level according to the assessments and recommend number of session per month to achieve objective.
- Provide English language training that caters up to 10 staff per session per group in ACTED premises Beirut base on understanding, speaking and writing communication in English language, using a vocabulary fitting NGO’s work and workplace interactions among colleagues.
- The sessions should focus on improving smooth communication:
. Providing feedback on performance,
. Showing respect for others’ opinions,
. Using appropriate language to reduce tension or conflict between colleagues,
. Providing a clear vision, direction and purpose,
. Avoiding misunderstandings between colleagues and working collaboratively.
. Presenting information using language that is easy for recipients to understand.
. Checking key messages are understood and adjusting communication as needed.
. Writing clear, concise, and descriptive documentation.
. Communicating persuasively and confidently with other members of the team
- Responsible for the monitoring of the training effectiveness through attendance sheets and pre/post-tests.
- Provide a progress report every 2 weeks to HR & Admin Manager.
- Coordinate with the HRM with all the updates related to the implementation process

- % of improved English speaking
- % of improved English writing, in emails and on Teams in particular
Requirements
- Master’s degree in English Education
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in training professionals
