Purpose of the assignment:

Kvinna till Kvinna is looking for an experienced Note Taker to accurately capture key points, discussions, and outcomes during two or three online sessions on “Gender Transformative Approaches: Practical Implementation” and “Community Building: Strategic Engagement with Communities”

 

 

Responsibilities and Deliverables:

The Note taker’s responsibilities will include:

1. Preparation:

  • Familiarize yourself with the agenda, objectives, and expected outcomes of the event/meeting.
  • Ensure that all necessary note-taking materials (e.g., notebook, laptop) are prepared and functional.

2. Note-Taking Execution:

  • Attend and actively participate in the event/meeting to capture important discussions, decisions, and action items.
  • Take detailed and organized notes in real-time using a structured format.
  • Clarify any unclear points or information during the event/meeting to ensure accurate notetaking.

3. Post-Event Deliverables:

  • Compile comprehensive meeting minutes or summary reports based on the notes taken.
  • Submit the meeting minutes or notes to the designated contact within 1 week after the event/meeting.

 

The Note taker will deliver the following for each of the events:

  • Detailed and accurate meeting minutes or notes reflecting the discussions and outcomes of the event/meeting, based on an agreed upon format with Kvinna till Kvinna.
  • Timely submission of meeting minutes or notes within 1 week.

 

Noting that the duration of each session is around 4 hours

 

Management and organisation:

The Note Taker will be working closely with the Kvinna till Kvinna team to ensure that events are well documented. The Note Taker will be responsible for completing and delivering the above specified deliverables to Kvinna till Kvinna.

 

Timeline:

The sessions will be between June and September 2024

 

Contracted note taker cannot further subcontract the assignment.

 

Required qualifications:

  • Excellent listening and note-taking skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong written communication skills to produce clear and concise meeting minutes or notes.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Prior experience in note-taking or similar roles preferred.
  • Arabic Language is a must.
  • Experience in working in MENA region.

 

The exact dates of the sessions will be discussed and approved by the note taker and the Kvinna till Kvinna team.
