Kvinna till Kvinna is a non-profit organisation that provides support to women rights organizations and women human rights defenders in conflict-affected areas to promote gender equality and women’s participation in all levels of decision making. Kvinna till Kvinna has established operations in the MENA region since 2001 with a regional office in Amman, Jordan, and country offices in Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq and Tunisia. Kvinna till Kvinna currently supports some 50 women’s rights organizations in eight countries in the region with organizational, thematical and financial assistance.

Helem is seeking applications for a consultancy-based content reviewer in the field of faith
and religion to assist in reviewing and editing its inventory of information concerning
existing mainstream Abrahamic scripture in relation to rights, gender, and sexuality within
the Arab context.

Helem is seeking applications for a consultancy-based Expert reviewer in the field of
LGBTQ+ Healthcare to assist in updating and copy-editing its inventory of information
about LGBTQ+ Health including but not limited to SRHR. The purpose of this initiative is
to fill in knowledge gaps about a diverse and expansive dimension of health and wellness
and equip individuals with information to protect themselves and resist discrimination,
stigma, and harmful misconceptions.

Helem is seeking applications for a consultancy-based LGBTQ+ and the Law Expert
reviewer to assist in updating and copy-editing its inventory of information about
queerness and non-normative SOGIESC within a multitude of legal texts within the MENA
region. The purpose of this initiative is to fill in knowledge gaps on existing legislature
concerning LGBTIQ+ individuals across the MENA region with specific connection to
written and audio-visual resources wherever they can be found. The information gathered
is designed to equip individuals with information to better understand and navigate

The therapist will provide 8 group sessions. The sessions will focus on addressing the emotional and psychological challenges that these women are facing on a micro level (personal challenges, family related challenges) and on a macro level (challenges related to their own circles and to their local communities as a whole).

This is a pilot project that aims to provide capacity building trainings to three local organizations from Jordan, Iraq, and Yemen (one from each country). More specifically, the project will provide a thorough capacity building program for the three organizations strengthening their abilities to integrate gender into their organizational and programmatic schemes. ABAAD will ensure that the organizations are well informed of the Gender and GBV core concepts before providing its tailored training on Gender Integration.

“Jina Dar” is a bus touring the most marginalized and remote areas, with a specialized team that provides services aiming to prevent and mitigate all forms of violence against women and girls. The overall goal is to improve protection prospects for both refugees and host communities by empowering right holders to exercise their rights, gain full agency and fulfil their potential as equal members of society.
