The Lebanese Union for People with Physical Disabilities (LUPD), a grassroots organization, was founded in 1981, in the middle of the Lebanese Civil War, to advocate for the inclusion, equality, and rights of people with disabilities in Lebanese society.

Founded in 1981, the Lebanese Union for People with Physical Disabilities is a non-profit organization founded and led by persons with disabilities committed to advancing the rights and inclusion of people with disabilities, with special focus on youth development and leadership. LUPD has five branches across the country and a membership base of 612. LUPD has engaged in non-stop advocacy and awareness campaigns to advance the political rights of persons with disabilities in Lebanon, utilizing each electoral cycle to lobby for accessible and inclusive elections for voters with disabilities.

LUPD is Looking for Suppliers to provide their offers for service provision of Food supplies, Detergent, and any grocery materials as per the attached TOR.

LUPD seeks to design, engineer and build a scalable suspended UPD (Inverter + lithium batteries) system on the available space of Beirut Access Kitchen, to generate power energy sufficient to run the kitchen facilities for a minimum of 8h daily with a sufficient power of 25 amps daily / 8 amps at night .

LUPD seeks to design, engineer, and build a scalable suspended solar system on the available space on its rooftop of Zahleh Access Kitchen, to generate solar-power energy sufficient to run the kitchen facilities for a minimum of 8h daily with a sufficient power of 30 amps daily / 12 amps at night .

With funding from the Spanish Cooperation Agency (AECID), the Movement for Peace (MPDL), and its partners LOST and LUPD are implementing a project: “Improve the resilience of refugee and host population with disabilities, prioritizing women in Lebanon” focusing on improving resilience and protection of refugee and Lebanese PwDs, especially survivors of GBV.
It aims to improve the resilience and protection of the most vulnerable persons with disabilities and in the face of the worsening humanitarian crisis in Lebanon. The program will provide unconditional cash distribution services.

CBM is seeking to recruit an auditor to perform an audit of the funds received and payments made by the Lebanese Union for People with Physical Disabilities under the project “Enhancing food security and strengthening socio-economic resilience in Crisis in Lebanon”. The Lebanese Union for People with Physical Disabilities has received funds from CBM to implement this project.
