Digital Marketing trainer
In response to the growing demand for digital skills, LUPD aims to provide training in digital marketing, which will open up new job opportunities for our beneficiaries. This Terms of Reference (TOR) outlines the scope of work for a Digital Marketing Trainer to equip beneficiaries with the knowledge and skills necessary to enter and thrive in the digital marketing field.
II. Objectives
The main objective of this consultancy is to deliver comprehensive digital marketing training to LUPD beneficiaries, enabling them to:
- Understand the fundamentals of digital marketing, including tools, strategies, and trends.
- Learn how to create and implement effective digital marketing campaigns across various online platforms.
- Gain practical skills in areas such as social media marketing, content creation, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), email marketing, and online advertising.
- Build a foundation for pursuing job opportunities in digital marketing or launching freelance ventures.
III. Scope of Work
The Digital Marketing Trainer will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Needs Assessment: Conduct an initial assessment to understand the digital literacy levels and training needs of the beneficiaries.
- Curriculum Development: Develop an accessible and flexible digital marketing curriculum based on the needs assessment, ensuring relevance and practicality. This curriculum will cover essential digital marketing principles and strategies, with specific topics determined by the trainer based on the beneficiaries needs.
- Training Delivery: Deliver interactive and inclusive training sessions to participants, ensuring content is understandable and accessible to people with physical disabilities.
- Practical Workshops: Conduct hands-on workshops to ensure participants gain practical experience in creating digital marketing campaigns.
- Post-Training Support: Provide post-training support, including mentorship, guidance on job opportunities, and advice on building a digital portfolio.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Evaluate the progress of participants and assess the effectiveness of the training program, making adjustments as needed.
IV. Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and experience:
- Education: A degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, including hands-on experience in social media, content creation, and paid advertising.
- Skills:
- Expertise in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Strong understanding of current digital marketing trends and best practices.
- Experience in designing and delivering training programs, especially for marginalized or disabled groups.
- Ability to adapt training materials to different learning styles and accessibility needs.
- Languages: Proficiency in Arabic (spoken and written), with a good understanding of English.
V. Deliverables
The Digital Marketing Trainer is expected to deliver the following:
- A tailored curriculum and training materials (e.g., slides, handouts, videos).
- A series of training sessions and workshops (number of sessions to be determined based on the scope of the project).
- A report on the training outcomes, including participant progress and any feedback for improvement.
- Post-training support, including feedback, mentorship, and guidance for participants interested in digital marketing jobs or freelance work.
VI. Reporting
The Digital Marketing Trainer will report directly to the project manager. Regular updates on progress, challenges, and any necessary adjustments to the training plan will be required. The trainer will also work closely with LUPD staff to ensure the training aligns with the organization's goals and the beneficiaries' needs.
