I. Introduction and background

In response to the increasing importance of marketing skills in today’s job market, LUPD aims to provide training in marketing, equipping beneficiaries with the knowledge and abilities necessary to pursue employment or entrepreneurial opportunities. This Terms of Reference (TOR) outlines the scope of work for a Marketing Trainer who will deliver comprehensive training tailored to the needs of the participants.

II. Objectives
The main objective of this consultancy is to deliver practical and accessible marketing training to LUPD beneficiaries, enabling them to:

  1. Understand the fundamentals of marketing, including concepts, strategies, and market analysis.
  2. Develop skills in creating and implementing effective marketing plans and campaigns.
  3. Gain knowledge in areas such as branding, customer engagement, content creation, and market research.
  4. Build a foundation for pursuing job opportunities in marketing or launching small business ventures.

III. Scope of Work
The Marketing Trainer will be responsible for the following tasks:

  1. Needs Assessment: Conduct an initial assessment to understand the training needs and existing knowledge levels of the beneficiaries.
  2. Curriculum Development: Design an accessible and flexible marketing curriculum based on the needs assessment, ensuring relevance and practicality. The curriculum should cover essential marketing principles and strategies, with specific topics determined by the trainer based on the beneficiaries' needs.
  3. Training Delivery: Provide interactive and inclusive training sessions, ensuring content is understandable and accessible to people with physical disabilities.
  4. Practical Workshops: Organize hands-on workshops to help participants apply marketing concepts in real-world scenarios.
  5. Post-Training Support: Offer post-training support, including mentorship, guidance on job opportunities, and advice on developing marketing portfolios.
  6. Monitoring and Evaluation: Assess participant progress and evaluate the training program’s effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.

IV. Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and experience:

  1. Education: A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing, including practical experience in campaign management, market research, and content creation.
  3. Skills:
    • Strong expertise in marketing tools and strategies.
    • Up-to-date knowledge of current marketing trends and best practices.
    • Experience in designing and delivering training programs, especially for marginalized or disabled groups.
    • Ability to adapt training materials to different learning styles and accessibility needs.
  4. Languages: Proficiency in Arabic (spoken and written), with a good understanding of English.

V. Deliverables
 The Marketing Trainer is expected to deliver the following:

  1. A tailored curriculum and training materials (e.g., slides, handouts, videos).
  2. A series of training sessions and workshops (number of sessions to be determined based on the project’s scope).
  3. A report on training outcomes, including participant progress and feedback.
  4. Post-training support, including mentorship and job guidance.

VI. Reporting
The Marketing Trainer will report directly to the project manager. Regular updates on progress, challenges, and necessary adjustments to the training plan will be required. The trainer will also collaborate closely with LUPD staff to ensure the training aligns with organizational goals and beneficiaries’ needs.

IX. Budget and Payment
The budget will be based on a negotiated fee. Payment will be made upon completion of agreed milestones and deliverables, according to the payment schedule established in the contract.

X. Ethical Considerations
