International Alert is seeking a qualified consultant to lead a context analysis and needs assessment process in 20 locations across Lebanon. The analysis will inform the implementation of a project on education and social cohesion targeting 20 public schools.

The post holder will work primarily on a project supporting education in public schools. As part of a consortium with three other organisations, International Alert’s role is to conduct context analysis in the target communities, advise partners on how to improve the project’s impact on social cohesion, and monitor the results related to social cohesion in and around schools. The post holder will be the lead in the relationship International Alert has with the Partners’ field teams in and around the 6 schools in Beirut and Mount Lebanon.

The purpose of this post is to provide M&E, administrative and logistics support to International Alert projects in Tripoli. This role involves carrying out monitoring and supporting the Senior Projects Officer in Tripoli, to follow up with project partners, conduct field visits and support sub-contracting and compliance. The position will be a key role in support projects across the project portfolio including on projects related to peacebuilding, education, and livelihood.

The Administration & Logistics Officer will support Alert’s projects in Bekaa. You will also oversee logistical management of key project activities, such as local event, conferences, trainings and research activities.

You will also oversee the organization and logistical management of key project activities, such as local and international conferences, trainings and research activities. You will be a skilled self-starter, who is impeccably organized and fluent in Arabic and English (French is a plus).

The purpose of this position is primarily to develop and manage communications and advocacy activities of the Lebanon programme. The role will make a significant contribution to raising the profile, visibility and impact of our work and will reach and influence diverse audiences including governments, donors, international organisations, NGO networks and the general public via multiple platforms and initiatives. This role leads on developing Communications and Advocacy plans for projects.

We are looking for a candidate who has significant experience in managing development, peacebuilding or similar projects in Lebanon & who is a strategic thinker with excellent people management skills. International Alert is seeking a qualified consultant to work on the designs of the Safe to Learn PVAC findings and advocacy plan. Through the development of posters and animation to the project findings.

International Alert is seeking a qualified trainer consultant to train 60 educators on the toolkit development under the Safe to Learn PVAC for educators. The intervention will support the educators to address violence and bullying and strengthen child safeguarding in NGO-run centres providing non-formal education. Trainees will lead after a one-day info session on the tool kit for 330 teachers or staff.
