International Alert is seeking a qualified consultant to lead an organisational capacity and needs assessment process in at least 30 civil society organisations (CSO) working in West Beqaa, Zahle, and Upper Chouf areas.

International Alert is seeking a qualified consultant or a qualified team of consultants to work on the development of the Nataf3al Social Cohesion toolkit for educators. Through the development of a toolkit to be used by educators, the intervention will support the educators to address violence and bullying and strengthen child safeguarding in public schools, as well as improve the school environment making it more welcoming to families, especially those from different backgrounds and attending different shifts.

The purpose of this position is primarily to develop and manage communications and advocacy activities of the Lebanon programme. The role will make a significant contribution to raising the profile, visibility and impact of our work and will reach and influence diverse audiences including governments, donors, international organisations, NGO networks and the general public via multiple platforms and initiatives. This role leads on developing Communications and Advocacy plans for projects.

We are looking for a candidate who has significant experience in supervising peacebuilding program activities including facilitating dialogue, working with local authorities and networks, supporting research and data collection to perform context analysis, peacebuilding and conflict analysis in Lebanon, particularly in Tripoli/North Lebanon, and Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) activities. Prior experience working on education, social stability, and gender projects, and in working with partners on training and coaching a plus.

The purpose of this job is to oversee and coordinate the monitoring and evaluation of Alert’s projects in Lebanon, and to ensure learning is shared internally and externally. The post holder will work closely with programme staff and provide advice and guidance on MEL approaches, tools, processes, and best practices. The post holder will also oversee internal evaluations and manage external evaluations, ensuring that learning is fed back into the design and adjustment of projects, as well as internal evaluation management procedures followed.

The purpose of this job is to have a new team member who will be enthusiastic and interested in growing with the programme. The Finance and Administration Officer will support Alert’s work and contribute to the programme’s impact and sustainability by supporting the team’s finance and office administration. You will also oversee the organization and logistical management of key project activities, such as local and international conferences, trainings and research activities. You will be a skilled self-starter, who is impeccably organized and fluent in Arabic and English (French is a plus).

The purpose of this job is to manage and coordinate the Gender and WPS Alert’s projects in Lebanon, and to ensure learning is shared internally and externally. This includes a project focused on ensuring the Women, Peace and Security Agenda is implemented through an enabling environment that supports women’s participation in conflict prevention and community peacebuilding in partnership with UN Women and projects related to gender, climate and conflict.
