The purpose of this job is to have a new team member who will be enthusiastic and interested in growing with the programme. The Finance, Logistics & Admin Officer will support Alert’s work and contribute to the programme’s impact and sustainability by supporting the team’s finance and office administration. You will also oversee the organization and logistical management of key project activities, such as local and international conferences, trainings and research activities. You will be a skilled self-starter, who is impeccably organized and fluent in Arabic and English (French is a plus).

Prior experience working on education, social stability, and gender projects, and in working with partners on training and coaching a plus.

International Alert is seeking a qualified researcher to lead the piloting process of a toolkit on social cohesion in public schools. The researcher will work on an action research process in 4 locations across Lebanon. The findings analysis will inform the advocacy phase of the implementation of a project on education and social cohesion targeting 20 public schools.

International Alert is looking for experienced companies specialising in various fields to deliver a two-days group training on topics relevant to civil society organisations (CSOs). Additionally, we require three days of customised support to enhance capacities in specific areas for each CSO, as well as coaching sessions for 24 CSOs in three different regions: West Beqaa, Zahle, and Upper Chouf.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our dynamic Middle East programme. To manage and oversee Alert’s peacebuilding portfolio in Lebanon specifically and with oversight to develop our programmes across the region. You will manage our team in Lebanon, lead on the implementation of our strategy across the Middle East, oversee and guide fundraising efforts and collaborations, and work towards ensuring impactful, well-managed peacebuilding programmes.

The post holder will work primarily on a project supporting social stability activities in public schools. As part of a consortium with three other organisations, International Alert’s role is to conduct context analysis in the target communities, advise partners on how to improve the project’s impact on social cohesion, support the implementation of social cohesion activities and monitor the results related to social cohesion in and around schools. The post holder will be the lead in the relationship International Alert has with the Partners’ field teams in and around the 4 schools in Beirut
