LOST are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Officer to manage and optimize our supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement and inventory management to logistics and distribution. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Management:
Source and purchase materials, goods, and services needed for production and operations. Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.

Inventory Control:
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure that sufficient stock is available to meet production demands while minimizing excess inventory. Implement strategies to reduce waste and optimize inventory turnover.

Logistics Coordination:
Oversee the transportation and distribution of goods, ensuring that products are delivered on time and in good condition. Coordinate with logistics providers and manage shipping schedules to optimize efficiency.

Supplier Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration. Address any issues or disputes promptly to maintain smooth operations.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect and analyze data related to supply chain performance, including procurement costs, delivery times, and inventory levels. Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.

Risk Management:
Identify potential risks within the supply chain, such as supplier reliability, transportation delays, or inventory shortages. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks and ensure continuity of supply.

Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all procurement, inventory, and logistics processes.

Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize the supply chain.

Stakeholder Communication:
Coordinate with internal departments, such as production, finance, and sales, to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives. Maintain clear and open communication with all stakeholders.

Educational Requirements:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is an advantage.
  • Experience with sustainable or green supply chain practices.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages, especially English and Arabic.

Work Environment:

  • This role typically involves working in an office environment, with occasional travel to supplier sites, warehouses, or logistics centers.
  • Flexibility in working hours may be required to coordinate with international suppliers or manage time-sensitive deliveries.
