Leadership workshop for Peace Building with YMCA (From 19,Aug,2024 to 26,Aug,2024)

The YMCA of Lebanon is organizing a seven days leadership training workshop for peace-building at the Fares Camp in Ras El Metn. The workshop aims to foster positive attitudes and constructive behavior among young people, broaden their perspectives on peace-building, and equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills.

Workshop Objectives

• Discovering identity and self-respect.
• Increasing awareness and knowledge about peace-building and promoting non-violent culture.
• Enhancing effective communication techniques through dialogue, active listening, and non-violent communication.
• Motivating participants to adopt positive behavior and understand their role in peace-building.

Workshop Methods

The training workshop uses active and interactive learning methods, including case studies, role-playing, group work, discussions, simulations, exercises, and recreational activities.
