Tasks and duties
- Safely operate and drive the training center's vehicles, including transporting the mobile team and equipment to designated locations.
- Ensure the proper loading and unloading of equipment and materials, securing them safely during transportation.
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely arrival at destinations.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, reporting any issues or repairs needed.
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations, maintaining a safe driving record.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment and materials at training sites.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, both inside and outside.
- Communicate effectively with the mobile team and coordinate logistics for transportation needs.
- Maintain records of vehicle maintenance, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of passengers and cargo during transportation.
- Provide support and assistance to the mobile team as needed during training activities.
- Perform any other duties related to driving and logistics assigned by the training center's management.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle(s) to be operated.
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably with experience in transporting personnel and equipment.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate vehicles safely and efficiently, including in various weather and road conditions.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to adhere to schedules and meet transportation needs.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with the mobile team and training center staff.
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of driving and assisting with loading/unloading.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Attention to detail to ensure the safe transportation of personnel and equipment.
- Awareness of safety protocols and ability to follow them diligently.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures is a plus.
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and punctuality.
- Commitment to providing excellent service and maintaining a positive attitude.
- Awareness and adherence to ethical and legal standards related to driving and transportation.
- Willingness to undergo any necessary background checks or screenings required by the training center.
