Program Manager - Jordan

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage the full cycle of project implementation in Jordan, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high impact.
• Develop and oversee a strong MEAL framework to ensure that all projects capture significant outcomes, facilitate timely data collection, and foster continual learning and improvement.
• Design projects that address the specific needs of the community, working in collaboration with local partners, stakeholders, donors, and Anera’s Business Development (BD) and fundraising teams to secure support and alignment.
• Supervise and guide the Field Coordinator, ensuring field operations align with overall project goals and compliance standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Finance and Operations Managers to ensure all projects adhere to financial and operational compliance requirements.
• Implement accountability mechanisms to affected communities, ensuring transparency and responsiveness in all project activities.
• Support the development and implementation of communication plans ensuring that the impact of projects is highlighted.
• Prepare comprehensive reports for the Country Director and donors, detailing project progress, challenges, and the impact of interventions.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering an environment of teamwork and positive engagement to enhance project performance.
• Actively attend cluster coordination meetings and effectively present Anera’s work, ensuring alignment with broader sector goals and enhancing collaborative efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Project Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in program management within a non-profit or international development context.
• Strong background in MEAL systems, with demonstrated ability to manage projects towards impactful results.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, able to work well with a range of partners, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Experience in designing and implementing community-based projects.
• High level of integrity and accountability to the communities served.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic.
