Lost is seeking to recruit a Physical therapist to assist in Ersal , Qaa, Hermel

It is assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs that restore or promote the physical health and personal development of patients as well as treating or preventing physical challenges associated with injuries, diseases and other impairments.

Main responsibilities;

  • Examinations and screening of beneficiaries disorders:
  • Assess the level of impairments/difficulties and accordingly set an individualized treatment plan.
  • Conduct relative therapy interventions for children with special needs.
  • Take detailed notes on the patient’s history and progress.
  • Collaborate with parents through meetings to meet desired goals and to evaluate the child's progress.
  • Report on the child’s progress and develop discharge summaries.
  • Assist teachers, staff, and families in implementing effective strategies to facilitate the improvement of the child.
  • Observe the patients and carry out an assessment 
  • Update and present the patient’s file every week.
  • Prepare a weekly and monthly plan for each beneficiary with detailed evaluations.
  • Prepare trainings and workshops for the team as requested.
  • Be attentive to the patient’s needs and help them to develop self-confidence.
  • Evaluate the patients’ capacities.
  • Seek to identify the origin of the patient’s difficulties.
  • Provide support and mentorship to patients.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
  • Accompany the team and implement effective strategies to facilitate the improvement of the beneficiaries.
  • Inform and update the team on the practices

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy 
  • 3 years of relevant work experience as a minimum.
  • Specialized understanding and scientific approach to human behavior, cognitive performance, mental illness, and psychosocial problems.
  • Ability to engage in case formulation, treatment delivery and outcome evaluation processes.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
