Political Science Researcher

Key Responsibilities
- Identify issues for research and recommend appropriate research methods.
- Lead or work on two to three research projects simultaneously.
- Support in drafting quantitative survey questions and qualitative data guides and ensure quality control of data collected.
- Analyze political policies, legislation, government administration, and election results.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Conduct literature reviews and background research on relevant topics.
- Consult with political groups, government officials, civic bodies, research institutes, media, and other relevant parties.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating project-related events, including roundtable workshops, conferences, and dissemination activities.
- Prepare presentations, articles, and other communication materials to disseminate research findings.
- Participate in conferences, seminars, and other events to present research results.
- Maintain organized records of all research activities, data, and project documents.
Professional Experience
- 3 to 5 years of relevant research experience, preferably in the areas of political science, public policy, environmental studies, public law, or a related field.
- Proven experience in conducting both qualitative and quantitative research.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Political Science, Public Policy, Environmental Studies, Public Law, or a related field.
- Experience leading a research project.
- Strong analytical thinking and excellent writing skills.
- Demonstrated experience with conducting academic/policy research.
- Demonstrated experience in collecting and analyzing data and information.
- A problem-solving attitude and approach.
- Proficiency in oral and written English is required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be a resident of Lebanon.
