Consultant to develop a consolidated regional report on Sexual and Reproductive Health

Under the “Women at the heart of the community” project, supported by Robert Carr Fund, MENA Rosa and through the Focal Points, wish to organize a three-days’ workshop on Sexual and Reproductive Health targeting WiTD, in: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, and Tunisia, to improve their knowledge about their health and well-being, make informed decisions on their SRH, ensure their bodily autonomy and integrity; and support them in the demand for and uptake of essential SRH services.

It aims to raise awareness of women in all their diversity on sexual and reproductive health, in particular STIs, HIV, Hepatitis B and C, menstrual and reproductive health, etc. A national consultant will prepare the agenda, conduct the workshop and draft a national report underlining data collected from the participants and highlighting the challenges and needs, particularly around SRH and gaps in service provision.

In addition, a regional consultant will oversee the agenda, pre/post-test and the final report of the national consultant. He/she will compile the data collected during the national workshops and draft a regional report on the situation of women in their diversity in the aforementioned countries.

The report will constitute a baseline for our upcoming advocacy interventions: in our strategic plan, we intend to conduct multiple advocacy efforts with national and regional stakeholders to prioritize the needs and rights of women in their diversity. It will be shared with national service providers (ALCS in Morocco, FOCCEC in Jordan, ATP+ in Tunisia, etc.) in order for them to advocate for the provision of SRH services for all women and girls.
