As part of Amel’s activities, the field officer will be responsible for the smooth implementation of the project targeting populations in BML, South, and Bekaa, in close coordination with the project coordinator.

Project activities will include provision of skills training, life skills, psychosocial support and support to income-generating activities, in addition to protection, Child protection, and social stability activities.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and follow-up on the progress of the activities in AMEL centers, by conducting regular field visits and on a weekly basis.
2. Monitoring the correct implementation of the internal and external referral system.
3. Ensure smooth implementation of project’s activities within the centers in close collaboration with the head of centers and social workers.
4. Ensure synergies and coordination with other service providers and the private sector in the areas of implementation;
5. Facilitate the implementation of activities in the areas (BML, South, Bekaa) in coordination with the team.
6. Attend meetings with Amel livelihood, protection, and child protection department and meetings related to work progress under the project.
7. Facilitate and conduct field visits with partners when needed.
8. Participate in trainings identified by the project coordinator.
9. Develop and maintain good relationships with local authorities and ensure smooth communication.
10. Represent AMEL when needed especially during the working groups and any other related meetings with partners and non-partners NGOs.
11. Conduct the orientation sessions for the new staff and inform the Head of Centers ahead of time. 
12. Monitor the weekly schedule of the field staff.
13. Make sure that all the activities are being implemented according to the guidelines.
14. In collaboration with the HR department, collect all the needed documents from the staff.
15. In collaboration with the HR department, make sure all the staff have signed their contracts as well as the code of conduct or any other related document. 

16. In collaboration with the HR department, make sure that every member of staff must fill the exit survey when resigns.
17. In collaboration with the HR department and project coordinator, inform the staff about the remaining days of their annual leave, and encourage them to finish the leaves before the end of the year. 
18. Fulfill any task or mission requested by the project coordinator.
19. Share weekly updates to the project coordinator;
20. Share updates on a monthly basis on the progress of activities and progress against targets;
21. Support and follow up with the consultant conducting the baseline survey in the North, BML, South, and Bekaa.

Other tasks
 Respect and Abide to the organizations internal code of conduct;
 Represent Amel Association, when requested and is necessary;
 Attend and participate in local and capacity building events as needed/Actively participate in training throughout the year;
 Be available to attend and participate in internal and external meetings;
 Meetings with other program staff is required and will be on a timely basis;
 Maintain positive relations with other team members;
 Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
 Other duties as Assigned

 

Requirements for this Position
 Bachelor's degree in business, social work, or any related majors;
 Proven experience in field coordination or related roles;
 Strong leadership and team management skills;
 Excellent organizational and time management abilities;
 Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
 Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices;
 Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data collection and reporting;
 Ability to work in dynamic and sometimes challenging field conditions;
 Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.
