Job Title: Business Trainer

Location: Batroun Community Center, Batroun, Lebanon

Tabitha for Relief and Development is seeking a Business Trainer to join the team in the Batroun Community Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive business development training to 27 business owners, who will also receive in-kind support for their businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training sessions on business development for 27 business owners, covering topics such as market study, business planning, management, marketing, promotion, legal registration, financial literacy, debts management, budgeting, and savings.
  • Design and deliver a structured course curriculum divided into 5 sessions, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all relevant areas.
  • Provide personalized support and guidance to participants, addressing the needs and challenges in business development.
  • Collaborate with Tabitha team and project stakeholders to ensure alignment of training objectives with project goals and outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions, gathering feedback from participants and making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and progress of participants, ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in delivering training programs on business development, preferably in a community development or nonprofit setting.
  • Strong understanding of financial literacy concepts, including debts management, budgeting, and savings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants from diverse backgrounds.
  • Solid organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the organization, with a passion for empowering individuals and communities through education and training.
