Responsibilities:

Assisting with assessments of new residents.

Participating in group therapy and psycho-education sessions under supervision of certified psychologists.

Providing support to Cedar Rehab’s team.

Helping with administrative tasks as needed.

Attending team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

Enrollment in a Master's program in Psychology or a related field, with a focus on clinical psychology, counseling psychology, or addiction
studies.

Knowledge of substance use disorders, addiction treatment modalities, and interventions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with residents from diverse backgrounds.

Ability to work effectively both solely and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards of the center and the residents.

Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the residents and the center.
