Responsibilities:

  1. Vendor Management:
    • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms, quality, and pricing.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  2. Sourcing and Procurement:
    • Source and procure top-quality ingredients and supplies while considering cost-effectiveness.
    • Stay informed about market trends and industry developments to make informed procurement decisions.
  3. Inventory Control:
    • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels.
    • Conduct regular stock assessments and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  4. Cost Management:
    • Work closely with the finance department to control the cost of goods sold (COGS) through effective negotiation and cost analysis.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and enforce quality standards for all incoming goods.
    • Conduct regular quality audits of suppliers and address any issues promptly.
  6. Risk Management:
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain to prevent disruptions.
  7. Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
  8. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the culinary team to align procurement strategies with menu requirements.
    • Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
  9. Continuous Improvement:
    • Regularly assess and enhance the efficiency of supply chain and procurement processes.
  10. Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage the procurement budget, tracking expenditures and ensuring cost control measures.
  11. Communication:
    • Maintain open and effective communication with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and team members.
    • Provide regular updates on procurement activities and performance metrics.
