Scope of Work
The Outreach Officer will be primarily responsible of the following activities:
- Conduct comprehensive mapping activities to identify key stakeholders, community leaders, and potential beneficiaries eligible for the project within the target areas.
- Coordinate with the kitchen owners/ managers their weekly activities, verify the kitchens’ operations including purchasing and receiving of raw materials, personnel, food preparation and delivery. Collect and file invoices and other means of verifications.
- Facilitate and manage field visits, delivery and distribution of meals, training sessions, and any other on-ground activities.
- Ensure accurate and secure management of all data collected during outreach activities, including beneficiary information, stakeholder contacts, and activities documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between beneficiaries and the project team, ensuring clear and effective communication, addressing concerns, and gathering feedback.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on outreach activities, including successes, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
- Identify potential risks or challenges in outreach activities and propose solutions to address them promptly.
- Work closely with the project coordinator to ensure that all activities are conducted efficiently and align with project objectives.
Essential Minimum Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Community development, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience in humanitarian roles with a focus on community engagement, outreach, and food security initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Strong organizational abilities with proven project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring of outreach initiatives.
- Excellent knowledge of Arabic and English languages.
- Preference for candidates residing in or near the Aley region.
