SALE OF WRITTEN OFF ICRC VEHICLES
DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) invites qualified bidders to submit bids for the purchase of used vehicles. This ITB provides comprehensive details for potential buyers interested in acquiring these vehicles:
1. Sale Overview:
ICRC is offering for sale three (3) used vehicles, and bidders have the option to bid for individual vehicles or the entire lot. The vehicles are sold on an "as-is, where-is" basis, without any warranties. Bidders are expected to accept all associated risks and responsibilities.
2. Individual or Lot Sale:
Bidders can choose to submit bids for individual vehicles or bid on the entire lot. It is essential for bidders to assess whether the vehicles meet their needs and requirements.
3. Expression of Interest:
This ITB serves as an invitation for interested bidders to submit their bids for the purchase of the used vehicles.
Terms and Conditions:
The successful bidder(s) will be responsible for all costs, including taxes, duties, and the transportation of the used vehicles to their final destination. Furthermore, the awarded bidder(s) must provide documentary evidence to the ICRC, demonstrating the payment of all taxes and duties, as well as the delivery of the items, before the purchase can be finalized. Bidders should carefully assess these additional costs before submitting a bid to ensure they can afford these expenses in addition to the cost of the item(s).

- Closing Date for Receipt of Bids: 12.12.2023
Bidders must submit their bids in sealed envelopes, clearly indicating their name, contact information, and the bid amount for each vehicle or for the entire lot, as applicable before 12 December 2023. Bids must be received by the ICRC no later than the closing date mentioned above. Late bids will not be accepted.
Important Note:
Submission of a bid in response to this ITB does not guarantee the receipt of solicitation documents or an award. ICRC retains the right to reject any bids received after the deadline.
