ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Ensure all MoPH guidelines and protocols are implemented in the center
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, and ensure adheranceto clinical protocols, best practices and ethical standards
- Emphasize a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication and professional growth
- Supervise and coordinate nursing activities
- Supervise and ensure that all activities in the triage are conducted and reported properly including vital signs, anthropometric measures, malnutrition screening, recognition of urgent cases, history of the patient,etc.
- Monitor vaccination procedures, administration and reporting
- Review patients’ medical files to ensure accurate documentation of patients’ records by the nurses and medical doctors
- Implement quality assurance measures to maintain standards of patient care and safety
- Educate patients and their families on health and wellness topics through awareness sessions
- On daily basis, check all equipment and supplies in the clinics and oversee filling of all established checklists
- Collaborate with health center manager to set and adjust physicians schedule, staff holiday schedules, and identify necessary supplies and equipment needed
- Maintain a clean and hygienic environment in the health center by regularly Coordinating with the cleaning staff
- Report communicable diseases to Ministry of Public Health (MoPH)
- Identify and address staff training needs in collaboration with humedica’s Health Officers
- Supervise sterilization procedures; monitoring compliance with standard protocols to ensure patient safety and quality of care
- Assist with Pediatric Cardiology service when needed
- Ensure all employees wear uniform while on duty.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports to humedica if required on daily activities, trainings attended by HC staff, and any challenges faced that can affect proper workflow
OTHER DUTIES:
- Attend meetings and trainings as assigned
- Conduct bilateral meetings with Health Officers, Health Coordinator and Area Coordinator as needed
- Additional duties as assigned

Skills & Competencies:
KNOWLEDGE:
- Familiar with MoPH guidelines in Primary Health Care Centers
- Very knowledgeable on infection control standards and procedures
SKILLS:
- Skilled in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent oral and written English skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
ABILITIES:
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure and in response to changing needs
- Ability to monitor and give directions
- Ability to deal with difficult, often frustrating work situations
- High degree of responsibility, initiative, emotional stability, the ability to prioritize a heavy workload and to delegate accordingly, culturally sensitive
