Position Overview

The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing a range of specialized HR functions at Hariri Foundation, including benefits and entitlements, position management, and recruitment, while ensuring strict compliance with local labor laws, organizational policies, and procedures. This role involves providing guidance in contract administration, benefits, and entitlements, as well as improving HR processes for enhanced efficiency. The HR Manager will handle complex HR cases, coordinate recruitment efforts, and maintain HR records, among other responsibilities.

 

Responsibilities

1. HR Administration and Compliance:

   - Undertake and oversee HR support services in various areas.

   - Ensure strict compliance with local labor laws, client regulations, and organizational policies.

   - Provide guidance on contract administration, benefits, and entitlements.  

2. Process Improvement:

   - Evaluate existing HR methods and propose efficiency enhancements.

   - Assess the impact of changes and make recommendations for follow-up actions.

   - Collaborate with other administrative areas to streamline processes.

3. Case Management:

   - Handle complex HR-related cases and inquiries promptly and effectively.

   - Conduct research on relevant cases and present findings and proposals.

   - Document cases and communicate outcomes to relevant parties.

4. Recruitment and Onboarding:

   - Coordinate comprehensive recruitment operations, including job description development and interviews.

   - Lead full-cycle project recruitment and onboarding processes.

   - Develop and update job descriptions to meet evolving requirements.

5. Communication and HR Records:

   - Disseminate HR communications, priorities, and tasks to staff.

   - Maintain HR files, track project leave schedules, and advise staff on leave entitlements.

6. Performance Management and Learning Initiatives:

   - Ensure proper staff performance management processes, including performance planning and appraisals.

   - Assist in promoting staff learning initiatives and align learning plans with individual development needs.

7. Data Analysis and Reporting:

   - Extract, compile, and analyze HR data; and prepare relevant reports.  

8. Collaboration and Other Duties:

   - Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Financial Manager, on HR-related matters.

   - Facilitate Private Medical Insurance (PMI) renewals in collaboration with local partners.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR Management or related field required; Master's preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years in HR roles, with expertise in benefits, recruitment, and compliance. International or nonprofit experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficient in HR software and analytics.
  • In-depth understanding of local labor laws and international HR standards.
  • Proven experience in leading recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Track record of ensuring strict compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.
  • Ability to optimize HR processes for efficiency.
  • Proficient in Arabic and English.
  • Passion for sustainable human development and social causes.
