Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the management team at ARCPA to establish youth platforms in Palestinian camps and gatherings
  • Support and conduct focus group discussions and other relevant tools to identify the most alarming issues within the community.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for around 12 community initiatives to address the identified issues effectively.
  • Train and supervise a team of volunteers to assist in the execution of activities and initiatives.
  • Organize and oversee various capacity-building workshops on communication skills and other relevant topics to ensure effective implementation of the initiatives.
  • Maintain good relations with local organizations, schools, popular committees, and relevant stakeholders to enhance the impact of the youth platforms and initiatives.
  • Monitor the progress and impact of the initiatives, tracking key performance indicators and reporting regularly to the management team.
  • Manage and follow up the budget allocated for the activities and ensure effective utilization of resources.
  • Produce comprehensive reports on the outcomes and results of each initiative, highlighting successes, challenges, and lessons learned.
  • Train youth in life skills and other areas as required, equipping them with the necessary tools for personal and professional development.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Proven experience or volunteering in designing, coordinating, and implementing youth-led initiatives.

Strong knowledge of social issues affecting youth such as drug abuse, child marriage, and related topics.

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.

Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and mentor a team of volunteers.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Cultural sensitivity and understanding of the Palestinian refugee community's dynamics.

Work Experiences:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in NGOs (either through work or volunteer roles).

Computer Skills

Demonstrate listening skills, flexibility, self-control, analysis, and reasoning in situations

Excellent Interpersonal and Problem-Solving skills and Creative

Provide helpful feedback and advice

Other information:

Shortlisted Candidates will be invited for a Technical Test & interview.

Preference will be given to fully qualified candidates residing in Wadi El Zeineh and its surrounding areas who have previously volunteered at ARCPA.

Only the Candidates who pass the technical test will be invited for the interview.
