Capacity Building Manager
Description:
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement capacity building strategies and training programs for staff and partners that align with the organization's mission and goals.
- Outline capacity building plans, scope and timeline as well as monitor the implementation process.
- Conduct needs assessments and identify training needs for staff and partners.
- Develop and deliver high-quality training sessions, workshops, and webinars that are interactive, informative, and effective.
- Evaluate training programs and assess their impact on staff and partner capacity and performance.
- Collaborate with program managers and other stakeholders to ensure that training programs are relevant, impactful, and aligned with program goals.
- Manage a team of trainers and capacity building specialists, providing guidance and support on their work and ensuring that they meet project deadlines.
- Stay up to date with the best practices in capacity building and adult learning and make recommendations for new tools and methodologies.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on the status of capacity building programs and activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, social sciences, international development).
- At least 5 years of experience in capacity building and training, preferably in the international development or nonprofit sector.
- Strong understanding of capacity building methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
- Experience in designing and delivering training programs for diverse audiences, including in-person and virtual sessions.
- Experience in evaluating the impact of training programs and assessing staff and partner performance.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Fluency in Arabic, French and English, both written and spoken.
