Description:

Methle Methlak Team is looking for potential trainers in Beirut, Mount Lebanon and Zahle to deliver sessions for juveniles in contact with the law on employability skills.

Methle Methlak is a youth-based initiative that aims to alleviate juveniles and young adults' reintegration process, namely after their release from Roumieh Central Prison.

Our goal is to offer these juveniles a second chance through the provision of much-needed services that they are in need of in order to ease this challenging process and continue their journey in life.

Methle Methlak aims to contribute to a more motivating and engaging environment for youth, through vocational, employability programs, and opportunities to develop their engagements in their communities.

Employment is one of the strongest protective factors against recidivism and post-release failure. After having served their sentence, the reintegration process of juveniles is not going smoothly where it is being highly affected by several factors. One of these factors is employment. Juveniles need support to build their employability skills and competencies.

Currently, Methle Methlak is implementing a career coaching program for juveniles in contact with the law in the Social development Centers under the Ministry of Social Affairs in partnership with the existing organizations in the field in order to build their capacity and their employability skills.

The overall goal of the project is to orient the youth on their career path and develop their skills to be able to land a stable and consistent job that will elevate their self-confidence, give them a higher chance of earning a stable income which in return may decrease the possibility of committing acts in conflict with the law.
