Background:

Beirut Heritage Initiative (BHI) was created after the August 4 2020 blast, by architects and experts that have been fighting for heritage preservation for multiple years.

BHI is currently searching for a videographer to join the team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The videographer will be working closely with the on-site and off-site team, to document the renovation process of one or multiple heritage building. S/he will also be in charge of the editing process of the content shot on site.

Experience:

A bachelor of masters degree in fine arts, visual arts, film/TV, multimedia or equivalent;

Knowledge in editing software programs (Adobe Suite & Creative Cloud, or equivalent);

Interest in culture, heritage and reconstruction;

General understanding of computers and digital equipment and knowledge of new and cutting-edge technology;

Ability to take and follow direction, while also having a creative eye for improvements;

Ability to work under pressure, or under limited timing;

Properly preserve and maintain the material used on site;

Should be flexible and open to other projects;

Usage of drone is an asset.

Language requirements:

Excellent command of Arabic and English languages (spoken and written) required. French language is an asset.
