Description: 
  • Assist the logistic team in the procurement of layer chicks, fodder and veterinary service providers in alignment with AVSI procedures;
  • Coordinate with project coordinator, field coordinators and project team to set up an identification and selection process of the farms and production units to be enrolled in the program;
  • Ensure accurate distribution of the layers and fodders, including timely and correct data collection, processing and dissemination;
  • Ensure the quality of the layer chicks’ distribution; age, vaccination and health status.
  • Prepare feed formulas for production units and ensure adequate compliance with plans and guidelines to maintain best production quality;
  • Elaborate brief and simple informative material to be printed and distributed to the production units;
  • Conduct regular farm and production units visits to inspect and identify diseases and abnormal issues;
  • Ensure appropriate and safe productive environments;
  • Liaise with veterinary service providers to propose and plan corrective actions for issues identified;
  • Organize and supervise field weekly plan to ensure efficient implementation and monitoring of activities;
  • Conduct regularly scheduled staff meetings to discuss and resolve staff and program issues and concerns;
  • Assist the project and M&E team in the preparation of assessments forms and tools for follow-up modalities;
  • Consolidate and validate project databases in alliance with overall targets in collaboration with M&E and field teams;
  • Prepare and submit regular work plans and monthly progress reports including quantitative and qualitative data analysis of running and planned activities in alignment with project reporting needs;
  • Given the nature and function of AVSI Lebanon as AVSI Mena hub, and on request, and in case of need; to collaborate with the regional structure in Lebanon / Mena;
