Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Project Management Roles and Responsibilities

1. Develop a detailed project plan aligned with the defined scope and objective of projects and monitor progress against the plan

2. Provide regular status reports and record and manage project issues and risks and escalate as necessary

3. Facilitate planning meetings and workshops when required

4. Ensure updated project documents, for quality and timely implementation of project and reporting guidelines for field trips, trainings etc. are adhered to

5. Supervise monitoring and evaluation the implementation of the activity to determine more areas for improvement and best practices

Operational Roles and Responsibilities

6. Supervise the activities related to the BA program implementation in the targeted/affected areas, including regular visits to observe progress of implementation

7. Ensure that gender, protection, the environment, and other important cross- cutting concerns are taken into account in program design, implementation, and reporting; ensure that activities reflect the needs of specific groups and individuals e.g. elderly people, children, and people with disabilities

8. Ensure development and facilitate requirements for effective and efficient oversight, support, quality control and reporting systems and processes

9. Contribute to the scope of tender, preparation of tender documents, bid evaluations, and contract management

10. Participate in meetings regarding progress of the project and clarifying issues/ concerns and ensuring implementation of agreements as the case may be

Program Strategy 

11. Contribute to needs assessment design and conduction, and suggest activities in line with the organization strategy plan, that reflects an accurate understanding of the Lebanese context and humanitarian situation 

12. Assess the appropriateness of different BA programming options, proceed with the selection of the targeted communities according to the feasibility of different program activities

13. In the context of identifying new operations, and together with president and OD team, contribute to the preparation of project proposals and budgets for the PBA sector;

14. Participate in the program strategy development of the BA program and the mission
