In summer of 2019, Lebanese spotlight launched a summer camp
to create a safe and fun space for kids of diverse backgrounds. It took place
in Horouch Beirut, where we designed several activities for kids to have fun
and learn new skills. in partnership with Forum Zfd Our Volunteers gained the needed skills to organize the Colony and develop their
Overall Objectives:
- Encouraging diversity and spreading joy
- Empower Youth
- strengthen kids abilities to communicate and Empower their skills
- Conflict Resolution abilities
Activities:
- art
- sports
- Music
- Theater
- Workshops
Results:
We successfully managed to create a fun atmosphere for the kids and helped them establish minor skills that could help them later on in their life. Most importantly, friendships between kids of different backgrounds was made.
