The project “WEE.CAN! – Women’s Economic Empowerment: hosting communities and Syrian refugees together to create new livelihood opportunities”, financed by the Italian Agency for International Cooperation (AICS), promotes the socio-economic women empowerment of Syrian refugee women and vulnerable women from the hosting communities in Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon through different actions that aim to improve sustainable access to income opportunities and social, technical and economic support for women-led businesses.

Social Research and Gender Expert

Job

Under direct supervision of the Country Representative and Project Manager, the Gender Expert will be responsible for leading gender-sensitive research and developing strategies to promote gender equality and social inclusion for the project " MAKANI AID012590/03/8 ". The Gender Expert will work closely with other team members to ensure that gender perspectives are integrated into all aspects of the projects. The Gender Expert will be based in Beirut and will be required travels to COSPE’s areas of Intervention on regular basis.
