National Wellness Network
NWN was established by Modern University for Business and Science (MUBS) to empower the sense of community service among the population living in rural areas. The NWN mission is to protect, preserve, and promote the wellbeing of the local community. By providing integrated and comprehensive services.
NWN is located in 3 main regions: Bekaa, Mount Lebanon, and Beirut. The NWN activities are based on academic and practical evidence that addresses community needs and public health issues (environmental, health, educational, social, etc.). Therefore, one of the NWN goals is to tackle sustainable developmental goals numbers 3, 15, and 17 of the UN Agenda 2030. NWN also works on many leadership programs specifically to empower vulnerable population (refugees, illiterate girls/women, and farmers) through building partnerships with many stakeholders including European and American institutions, International Donors (MADAD, British Council and WHO) NGOs, municipalities, and local communities (SDG 17).
