Description:

“Youth Employment & Skills” (YES) is a project of Swisscontact’s Development Programme. It started with a pilot phase of 18 months in July 2019 and will conclude in December 2020.  The project works with the "Coaching Cycle" methodology developed by the Swisscontact C4EE project team in Albania in collaboration with the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, which is already being successfully implemented in Eastern Europe in its tenth year. In order to promote the development of young women and men, the project is aimed at solving important obstacles such as the lack of life and professional competence of young people, a lack of information and orientation on labour market opportunities, a lack of access and appropriate services for these categories at various levels. This will be achieved by training coaches to implement the coaching cycle.

Tasks

  • Support the project team in developing the project’s strategy and implementation of interventions related to vocational education and training, coaching and labour market insertion
  • Participating in the quality assurance of selected project activities related to training and labour market insertion
  • Taking on a role in capacity building of project implementation partners in the areas of coaching and labour market insertion
  • Conducting project monitoring and results measurement activities
  • Reporting and communicating of project activities (project cycle management)
