Description: 

The Administrative Assistant will primarily provide general office support to the Country Director as well as administrative and technical support for the human resources, marketing, and communication activities.

Support for the Country Director:

-Provide administrative and logistical support

-Maintain an active and effective channel of communication between the director and callers/visitors and staff
 
-Support for human resources activities:

-Perform administrative duties including paperwork, data-entry, filing, etc.

-Support with recruitment, onboarding processes, HR system updates and different HR related initiatives
 
-Support for communication and marketing activities:

-Develop effective media action plans and establish relations with diverse media contacts

-Optimize effective communication about AMIDEAST and all programs throughout the office space by designing bulletin boards, photo collections, displays, multimedia presentations, etc.

-Contact vendors and distributors to get competitive offers and prices

-Handle print jobs of business cards, promotional materials and office branded stationery

-Handle all inquiries (electronic, by phone, or in person) by providing accurate and appropriate information

-Update alumni and media database and logs

-Collect testimonials and capture alumni success stories

-Maintain communication with alumni, attend alumni events; and organize alumni activities
 
Required Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in Media & Communication, Business, Human Resources or related field

-1-2 years of experience in an administrative and communication role

-Knowledge of and proficiency in use of social media tools

-Excellent writing and copywriting skills

-Excellent organizational, communication, time management and leadership skills

-High attention to detail and the ability to multitask and adapt

-Ability to take initiative and prioritize responsibilities

-Excellent computer skills including MS Office; high proficiency in PowerPoint

-Experience using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and video-making preferred

-Fluency in English and Arabic is a must

-Willingness to work on weekends, as needed, for activities, events or meetings

-Lebanese citizenship

-Available to start work immediately
