854375 WVL I Call for Tender I Rehabilitation for the 21 Schools under Child Protection Standards

World Vision is looking for an engineering contracting firm for the rehabilitation of 21 schools in the aforementioned locations under the project “Rehabilitation for the schools under Child Protection Standards” with financial assistance from Youth Resolve-MADAD, CP&A, and CESP project.

The purpose of this announcement is to award a contract with the engineering contracting firm.

The contractor shall execute the project in compliance to the Condition of contracts (Vol 01), bill of quantities (Vol 02) and drawings and photos (Vol 03) received from World Vision Lebanon procurement department.

The project includes but not limited to the following works:

Rehabilitation in 21 schools in different locations around Beirut -Lebanon, including:

• Concrete works
• Supply and Installation of TOT Tents
• Waterproofing and Painting works
• Sanitary works
• Supply and Installation of Aluminum / Steel glass windows and handrails
• Supply and Installation of window films
• Supply and Installation/ rehabilitation of wood/steel doors

By implementing this project, World Vision intends to strengthen child protection for both Syrian and Lebanese students in schools.

Eligible bidders are:

(a)        Lebanese Contractors registered in Ministry of Finance.

(b)        AND General experience: minimum 5 years of experience in contracting including architectural, finishing works and rehabilitation

(c)        AND Relevant experience in similar assignments during the last five years; (List and value of implemented projects for the last 5 years in finishing, plus client’s contact details who may be contacted for further information on those contracts. A minimum number of two execution contract, over the past 5 years, with one of them has an amount above 100,000$ per project

3 July 2019: Cut-off date for bidders to request tender documents ONLINE.

Any emails received after cut-off date will be rejected.

5 July 2019: A mandatory information session will be conducted at World Vision National office regarding the rehabilitation works, before a site visit to 21 Schools at Beirut Area in a span of 2 days that will be agreed on during the session.

                     The tenderer who will not attend the mandatory session and the site visit will       be automatically considered out of the bids.

9 July 2019: Cut-off date for receipt of any questions regarding the tender. Questions should be sent via email to [email protected]. One comprehensive Q&A report will be sent to all bidders on 12 July 2019.

Any questions received after the cut-off date (8 July 2019) will be rejected

16^th July 2019 (4:00 PM):

DEADLINE for submission of bid and all related documents (Administrative, Technical, Financial) online AND in a Sealed Envelope to our office in Mansourieh (by 4:00 PM at the latest).

Any bids received after the DEADLINE will be rejected.
