Peace of Art is a registered Lebanese NGO; under the registration number no. 654. The main objective of Peace of Art is to create a community where arts & other non-violent means of communication are employed for the betterment of society and its living conditions. PoA started in 2016 with a group of artists who use arts for peace issues, targeting youth, children and women from different backgrounds (religions, villages, sectors, nationalities...) who have to accessibility to arts in the deprived area of North Bekaa. Our program ensures a creative platform and a safe space for youth and children to interact and grow away from the continuous conflicts, violence and crisis that affect them. Peace of Art's work focuses on building awareness, fighting discrimination and empowering local society to meet SDG goals and attain sustainable development in North Bekaa. Our activities include profesional training in music, photography, movie production, drawing, solfegio...(with focus on reviving and preserving the national cultural heritage) as well as civil training and creative skills that help youth and children stand out. The targeted children and youth will become the agents of peace contibuting to a nonviolent generation.
