The Recruitment Process

The recruitment process consists of three main steps:

Interested candidates should first complete the online application (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfbaXtJYw7tAfa4HYeh9DxDR6y2g6Lt...), which includes the following three short-answer questions:

Tell us about your campaigning experience. What issues have you advocated for? What are your strengths as an organizer? Where have you identified room for improvement? What key successes have you achieved? What key lessons have you learned?

At Sunday lunch, your grandmother asks, Why it is important to defend digital rights? What do you say?

Name a recent digital rights campaign. Explain why you think it was or wasn’t successful.

Qualified applicants will be contacted for a follow-up video interview.

Finally, the top three to five candidates will be asked to complete a time-limited exercise to design an original digital rights campaign around a topic of SMEX’s choosing.

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until the position is filled.

(Your submission through an email address is not considered, unless through an online application)
