Training coordinator

If you're someone with a zeal for education and giving others opportunities to learn , learn something different than what they do at university, than we're looking for you . 

The capacity building coordinator is a person that will both design and implement a yearly strategy for our lists of trainings and bootcamps that will be delivered all year long , targeting university students in various fields and young professionals. 

You will be responsible for the following : 

- Understanding through need analysis what is missing in university education in each field apart 

- Understanding what the job market and the society need as skills and competencies 

- Draft a list of potential trainings, bootcamps, experiences that we can offer to young students 

- Prepare a monthly calendar of events, trainings and interesting seminars 

- Look up interesting trainers in various fields and contact them to deliver the trainings ( inside and outside of Lebanon )

- Prepare a marketing and advertising strategy 

- Build partnerships with other institutions and Ngos and universities 

- Advertise the trainings in universities and in companies 

- Arrange the logistics (date, arrange venue, check attendance ... ) 

We're looking for you if you comply with the following : 

- An enthusiastic person who can work with ambiguity and in fields that he hasn't approached before 

- Someone with lots of connection and a wide network of contacts 

- Someone who has worked before in this field OR who has attended a good number of trainings in various fields and thus has the connections 

- Someone creative and can think out of the box and suggest cool events, trainings, meetups and gatherings 

- Self motivated and an entrepreneur 

- Definitely not shy to speak in front of a crowd 

- Good in sales and in marketing : Convincing people in the importance of the events we're holding 

- Fluent in English 

MOST IMPORTANTLY: You should believe in the importance of redesigning the university experience and in helping individuals become lifelong learners. If education is not dear to your heart, maybe this position is not for you.
