Request for Proposal #BEY/2016/002

for LHIF Refugee Advocacy Campaign

The Lebanon Humanitarian INGO Forum (LHIF) is an informal group of 33 international NGOs who are working to address the needs of refugees and vulnerable Lebanese communities throughout Lebanon. The purpose of LHIF is to help our members undertake their humanitarian work more efficiently and effectively through coordination, advocacy, representation and information sharing. LHIF works with its members to develop common positions and present a unified voice to influence policy and decision-making. LHIF is administratively hosted by the Danish Refugee Council and funded by ECHO.

In the run-up to high-level UN summits in September, LHIF intends to highlight the need to maximize resettlement to third countries for Syrian refugees in Lebanon and expand the number of resettlement and other legal admissions opportunities available to them. The campaign aims to create products that are easily shareable and injectable into a number of ongoing civil society initiatives in Europe, North America and the international community in the Syria Region around the summits.
