The overall objective of this consultancy is to help SIDC review its existing policies & procedures specifically related to the financial, HR and procurement requirements, identify the gaps, come up with recommendations and address them accordingly. 

1. Project Synopsis
The project is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Through the Building Alliance for Local Advancement, Development and Investment – Capacity Building (BALADI CAP) and it aims to promote national policies and action plans that can help eliminate discrimination on mainstream media outlets. To this end, the initiative will build on the efforts previously undertaken by the CSO Human Rights Network and advocate for mainstreaming gender equality and the protection of vulnerable groups within local TV stations in Lebanon.

At SMEX, we are working on building networks around digital rights and freedom of expression, both nationally and regionally. We are looking for someone enthusiastic to draft and oversee the network’s framework, processes, and implementation in the aim of creating active and functional networks across the Middle East and North Africa region.

This is a consultancy that requires expertise in building networks and some knowledge about the digital rights scene in the region and the world.
