Within its context of work in Lebanon, and as part of its mandate, The Consultant will contribute to the implementation of UNFPA activities related to the GBV/SRH integration package adopted under several projects/interventions. CARE International in Lebanon (CiL) supports local businesses and individuals. The BDS Specialist will primarily contribute to the achievement of the project by working on strengthening the employability of vulnerable individuals, identifying potential opportunities for farmers and agrifood processors (existing and scalable micro, small and medium enterprises /MSMEs), and facilitating access to the necessary inputs to support their sustainability (capacity building on best practices, access to finance and access to market).

She/he monitors beneficiaries’ health conditions and handles medical administrative duties.

The Registered Nurse provides nursing care through the development and implementation of nursing care plans. He/she collaborates with Physicians on a daily basis, assesses beneficiaries’ health needs and guides practical nurses on the necessary activities to be conducted. The Registered Nurse also advises beneficiaries on health promotion, maintenance and disease prevention topics.
