Women Now for Development is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified training providers to facilitate a comprehensive four-day training program focusing on Community Initiatives and Team Building. The training will be divided into two main components: two days dedicated to Initiatives Formation and two days dedicated to Initiative Leading. The aim is to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to form and lead successful community initiatives.
Training Overview:
Day 1-2: Initiatives Formation
- Definition and Importance of Community Initiatives
- Identifying Community Needs and Opportunities
- Planning and Designing Effective Initiatives
- Building and Mobilizing Community Support
Day 3-4: Initiative Leading
- Roles and Responsibilities of Initiative Leaders
- Effective Communication and Collaboration within Teams
- Problem-solving and Decision-making in Initiative Leading
- Monitoring, Evaluation, and Adaptation of Initiatives
Training Logistics:
Duration: Four days
Daily Hours: 6 hours (including two breaks)
Location: Chtoura, Bekaa, Lebanon
Language: The training will be conducted in Arabic
Expected Outputs:
Upon completion of the training, participants are expected to demonstrate the following outputs:
Initiatives Formation Skills:
- Participants should have a clear understanding of how to identify community needs, plan, design, and garner support for community initiatives.
- Enhanced skills in effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving within teams.
- Participants should be equipped with the knowledge and skills required to lead community initiatives successfully.
- Understanding and application of monitoring, evaluation, and adaptation principles for ongoing initiatives.

Interested organizations are requested to submit their proposals by 1 of December 2023. Proposals should include a detailed training outline, trainer qualifications, proposed budget, and a brief description of relevant experience to Leadership.leb@wnd-leb.org
