Objective:
Syrian Activists Network (Syan), an institution of Watan, is an international institution of civil society that was established in England in 2011. Head quartered in UK, Syan has operated in Europe, Turkey and the Middle East. Through its vision to be a pioneer in developing capabilities toward better Syrian civil society, Syan aims to develop and increase knowledge and technical skills for Syrian people to benefit their societies by participating in several training programs and seminars among wide range of topics such as interpersonal skills, team building, multimedia and graphic design, leadership and other interesting topics.
Syan is currently seeking to hire an Executive Manager for its Head Office in Lebanon. The main tasks are as followings:

Work to achieve the goals of the institution, implement strategic plans and manage its affairs
Prepare, plan and arrange for training sessions, conferences and camps which aim at raising the efficiency bar of trainees skills and knowledge
Design and develop Monitoring and Evaluation
Communicate and coordinate with professional trainers, coaches and specialists to ensure the implementation and launching of the institution’s training and development programs.
Build strategic relationships in the field of training and development in the areas of administrative and behavioural skills
Participate in the development plans, and provide tips and advice to the chairman and management.
Participate in the development of monthly and annual budget.
Develop plans of manpower needs and services, office and administrative and informational requirements of the institution
Maintain organizational structure and process to ensure high performance and outcomes
Work on the implementation of policies and systems and enterprise software and accurate application and propose effective administrative policies and overseeing the implementation of regulations and administrative procedures wanted speed and accuracy
Manage and control day-to-day work activities and maintain reports of performance and deliveries
Take on-time decisions and execute plans based
Represent them in front of others as well as events, concerts and interviews official authorization from the President of the Board of Directors
Write a weekly report to show what work was done and what has been postponed with the statement reason and submit it to the President of the Board of Director

 
Experience and Skills

Minimum of 5 to 10 years of working experience at similar job role in training and development industry
Working experience with NGOs and international civil institutions for interpersonal capability development is plus
Possess excellent skills at strategic decision making level
Excellent leadership and communication skills and team building,
Able to manage teams of volunteers effectively
Very good command of both Arabic and English languages
Computer literate, power user of computer applications like MS office, internet social website
