Finance Officer-Middle East Response

We are looking for a Finance Officer for the Eurasia and North Africa team to provide financial support primarily to the Middle East Crisis Response. The role may also involve supporting other Model 2 countries in the region as needed.

The Finance Officer will assist the Middle East Crisis Response Manager and, if assigned, the Country Directors of ENA countries, ensuring that all financial and accounting processes for their programs meet legislative requirements and align with organizational procedures and standards. Collaboration with support staff will be key to maintaining accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have:

• BA degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience in a finance similar role with NGO in finance department.
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English
• Very good organisational and scheduling skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Able to handle and guard confidential information sensitively and discretely
• Able to take initiative and be willing to adjust with situation
• Good IT skills in: Microsoft Office, Database management and Advanced Excel skills
• Able to prioritise
