Music Teacher

SSSE is seeking to employ a dynamic and experienced Music Teacher to teach primary students in educational centers located in the Bekaa region (Ghazzah & Kamed El Loz, or Bar Elias). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in shaping students' musical abilities and nurturing their appreciation for music. The candidate will teach a diverse range of students, guiding them through various music concepts, techniques, and performance skills. The teacher will also select and form a choir group to perform a show at the end of the school-year.  

Key Responsibilities:

Instruction: Teach music history, and music appreciation. Conduct lessons for students, adapting the teaching methods to meet different learning styles and needs.

Performance: Provide instruction on at least two musical instruments. Offer guidance on technique, interpretation, and performance practices.

Assessment: Provide constructive feedback to help students improve and achieve their musical goals.

Enrichment: Select a choir group from the students and organize a performance at the end of the school year.

Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in music education. 

Qualifications:

Education: A degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience in teaching music for primary students between 7 and 14 years old (Grade 1 till Grade 6). Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students.

Skills: Proficiency in playing at least two musical instruments. Strong understanding of music theory, composition, and performance techniques.

Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Passionate about inspiring and developing students' musical talents.
