IT Consultant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Consultant to provide strategic IT guidance, implement technology solutions, and ensure the organization's digital infrastructure meets its needs. The consultant will assess current IT systems, recommend improvements, and enhance cybersecurity measures. Additionally, the consultant will support the integration of accessible technology to promote inclusivity for persons with disabilities.

Responsibilities And Main Duties:

• IT Strategy Development: Developing a strategic IT plan that aligns with the client's business goals.
• Regular Inspections: Periodically check hardware components like servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices to identify potential issues.
• Repairs and Replacements: Fix or replace faulty hardware components to prevent downtime.
• Upgrades: Upgrade hardware components to improve performance and extend their lifecycle.
• Updates and Patches: Regularly update software applications and operating systems to fix bugs, close security vulnerabilities, and improve functionality.
• Configuration Management: Ensure software is correctly configured to meet organizational needs and to optimize performance.
• License Management: Track software licenses to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Documentation: Maintaining detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and change
• Help Desk Support: Providing technical support to end-users, resolving issues related to IT systems and software.
• User Training: Training employees on new systems, software, and security practices.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an IT Consultant, IT Manager, or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in IT infrastructure management, networking, and cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing and database management.
• Experience with Voice Over IP (VoIP) systems.
• Knowledge of assistive technologies and accessibility software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English
