SEEDS is seeking a part-time Financial Officer to conduct the following tasks
- Keep accurate records for all transactions
- Process monthly invoices and payment requests following donors’ requirements and SEEDS’ internal financial procedures
- Assist with procurement and purchases for the projects and for the organization
- Prepare monthly cash and bank reconciliation sheets
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Participate in financial audits
- Assist with budget preparation
- Implement financial policies
- Perform other tasks as necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or similar fields
- Proven work experience as a Financial Officer or similar role
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Experience using financial software
- Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets)
- Good organizational and time-management abilities
- Knowledge of national financial regulations
