The Business Management & Economic Monitoring of Production Trainer is responsible for providing participants with comprehensive training in key areas of business management, economic analysis, and production monitoring. This role involves teaching best practices in managing business operations, analyzing economic trends, and optimizing production processes. The trainer will equip participants with the skills necessary to make informed decisions, improve operational efficiency, and achieve sustainable growth.
1. Training Delivery
- Develop and deliver a 5-days (20-hour) training program to 180 participants (12 groups) tailored to the needs of small producers and cooperatives. The trainee will be selected among the farmers who already received technical training by Safadi Foundation. The trainer will receive the baseline assessment to adapt the content to their profile as relevant.
- Prepare a booklet outlining the training program, which they can reference at any time in the future.
- Design and implement pre-and post-training assessments to measure learning outcomes.
- Facilitate interactive and practical sessions on:
- Business and Financial Management (budgeting, cost control, record-keeping).
- Market Analysis and Sales Strategies (supply/demand trends, pricing, customer targeting).
- Economic Monitoring of Production (profitability tracking, risk assessment, sustainability).
- Networking and Market Linkages (business connections, cooperative engagement).
- Ensure that training materials are practical, easy to understand, and relevant to participants.
- Training deliverables:
- Summary note on the specific needs identified.
- Training outline and plans
- Evaluation grid (English/Arabic) for pre and post assessment.
- For each group the trainer will be asked to complete the course.
2. Follow-Up & Knowledge Application
- Conduct post-training follow-ups (both group and individual) to assess knowledge application.
- Provide guidance and tailored business support based on participants' specific challenges.
- Collaborate with local partners to facilitate peer learning and experience exchange among producers.
- Work closely with the program team to align training with project objectives.
- Provide training progress reports on training delivery and participant engagement.
- Activity deliverables:
- Follow-up plan
- Post-training report
- Recommendation on 50 to 70 farmers eligible to receive the In Kind Grant.
