Call for Consultants - Education Situation Analysis

The RERA is a rapid but comprehensive situation analysis of educational institutions, learners, and communities, treating them as a dynamic network of relationships encompassing assets and various contextual risks. It includes essential components from rapid education needs assessment along with contextual risk analyses like conflict analysis, disaster risk assessment, and resilience analysis. The primary focus of a RERA is to: (1) examine the impact of risks on the school community; (2) determine the reciprocal influence of education on risks; and (3) analyze how different contextual risks influence each other.

The situation analysis will build on QITABI 2’s RERA conducted in 2020 in response to the pandemic. The end-product of this consultancy is an extensive analysis report aimed at bolstering the Lebanon’s path to self-reliance. It will focus on enhancing the education system and addressing the factors impacting the education outcomes, thereby mitigating programmatic, fiduciary, and institutional risks.

 

Interested candidates should submit the following:
• A written proposal outlining clear data collection methodology, tools, and work plan.
• CV and cover letter covering the intention and the interest of the applicant, and the skills, expertise the applicant offers to ensure the success of the study.
• A clear budget and budget narrative explaining the expected costs.
• A writing sample demonstrating the applicant’s prior experience in similar work.
